Making public transit more accessible by showing you what's within walking distance of every station
Public transit is a sustainable and affordable way to explore cities, but one question remains: what's accessible from each station?
Stationside Guide solves this problem by visualizing the walking distance from every transit station. We show you restaurants, coffee shops, gyms, parks, and more within 5, 10, and 20-minute walks, making it easy to plan your journeys.
Our goal is to encourage more people to use public transit by showing them everything that's within reach, supporting the vision of walkable, 15-minute cities where daily needs are accessible without a car.
Choose any transit station on our interactive map or use the search function.
View colored isochrones showing 5-minute (green), 10-minute (yellow), and 20-minute (red) walking distances using real street networks. Paths represent sidewalks, bikeways, and roads.
We try and prioritize showing sidewalks, walking paths, and bike lanes, but if there are none, we will switch to roads and other trunk lines in order to keep the path as continuous as possible.
Browse restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, gyms, parks, and more. Filter by category and see exact walking times and distances.
While we try to get as many places on the map as we can, we often miss things. If you think there is something that should be on the map, let us know and we will do our best to add it.
We usually are able to pull in enough points of interest so that you can start to see where things like restaurants are clustered. This will give you a good indication of what direction to walk when you head out of a particular station.
Use this information to book a hotel, plan errands, find restaurants near your destination, or discover new places along your commute.
