The A Line connects Monrovia to the broader LA Metro rail network, giving travelers a car-free way to move through the region. That said, this station asks for patience on foot. The one nearby hotel and the closest restaurants all require a solid walk, so plan accordingly before you arrive.

For coffee, you have real options. Mimi's Cafe and The Loose Teas Cafe and Gifts are the closest, with Merengue Bakery & Cafe a bit farther out. None of them are quick grabs between trains, but if you have time to spare, the choices are there.
